Position Summary
The primary responsibilities are to optimize the IT operational Infrastructure to support a multi-Billion enterprise by working with the existing Systems and Servers Team to:
1) Report on Systems Performance Metrics such as Systems availability, etc.
2) Setup and Configure system monitoring events of multi-technology computing platforms
3) Create documentation of various computer operations processes
4) Document Asset management of Computer Operation

Job Dimension
1) Work with the Systems and Servers team to support 6 North American Companies
2) Recommend Solutions and identify costs

Current Context
Main Project: Using software solutions, setup, configure and execute the automated monitoring solution to track, route and record Systems operations events in a multi-technology environment using automated methods.

Key elements that could motivate a candidate
The primary project will provide exposure to a computer infrastructure and operation of a 2B company. You will see and understand first hand the IT operations and requirements which will allow you to optimize a systems monitoring solution. This will require understanding the computer operations and hands on configuration of software tools.

Qualifications- Currently enrolled in Computer Science Program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in IT operations a plus.
