Position Summary
This position exists in a manufacturing plant to learn Dannon Operations Finance in the area of reporting of plant financial results, fixed assets, month end close, efficiency reporting, material loss and labor variance follow up.

This position provides timely and specific financial information to assist Operations Management Team in making informed decisions.

This position will be entry-level with a focus on Dannon Operations Finance which includes milk accounting, loss & labor analysis inventory control, fixed asset accounting, spare parts, controllable cost control, utility tracking and internal controls in a continuous improvement environment. Job functions will rely heavily on Microsoft Excel & SAP. Development will revolve around a rotational training development plan, capacity to analyze key performance indicators and their impact on plant operations, and the ability to work with multiple functional groups at the Plant level. This position will be a growth position with transition plan into senior accountant role after 1-2 years. Responsibilities will include:

- Input/learn/report weekly key performance indicators and ensure their accuracy to understand and communicate impact of these measure to the business.
- Quickly analyze data, identify variances and benchmark information against other locations.
- Learn plant cost accounting functions with an emphasis on month end close, material loss and labor variance analysis, spare parts, fixed assets and report preparation for use by Corporate HQ and local plant management.
- Ability to find gaps in financial controls & analysis and develop effective processes, which close the respective shortfalls.
- Execute effective analysis of material flow impact on inventory controls with ability to determine gaps and plan corrective actions.
-Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment.

Qualifications
- BA or BS in Accounting
- 0 to 2 years experience
- Information systems understanding (SAP)
- Excellent MS Excel and Word skills
- Ability to communicate complex accounting information verbally and in writing
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, prioritize, adaptability, flexibility
- Solid interpersonal, analytical and technical skills

Position Summary

As part of the Dannon North American SSD industrial investments (CAPEX) team, the primary purpose of this position is to manage related projects at one of the three US plants located in West Jordan, Utah, Fort Worth, Texas and Minster, Ohio. The SSD CAPEX Manager will need to have proven project management, communication, collaborative, analytical and negotiation skills.

Position functions:
• Implementation of sourcing strategies aligned to the Category sourcing team strategies
• Project management – involved and contributes to each phase of the CAPEX projects (start, request for quotes, negotiation, supplier selection, contracting, project execution, project closing); the individual will be co-leader with the Industrial team to guarantee successful starts & completions of projects with respect to budget, quality and timing
• Category management; Establish and develop sourcing strategies for a key market such as process, packaging utilities or construction
• Supplier relationships – set targets as well as to manage & evaluate supplier performance
• Budgeting process - involvement with the Industrial and Finance teams toward preparation and control during the year, including costs & productivity management
• Project financial management – preparation of capital requests and analysis of supplier quoted cost as well as solution’s total cost of ownership in order to present most cost effective solution
• Financial Reporting - analysis, control and animation of the CAPEX results;
• Methodology – strict adherence to regulation and food safety standards for 100% of the projects
• Networking with SSD peers; acts as a catalyst in bringing forward best practices, cross project leverage & knowledge and collaboration

Qualifications
• BS degree in engineering or business focus on production management and industrial experience
• 3 - 5 years or related experience

Position Summary
With an ambitious growth plan, the Dannon Company, Inc. is expecting around 100 million dollars of capital investment per year to support and increase the production capacity of its 3 plants in Ohio, Texas and Utah. The Investment team is developing strategies to decrease the costs and durations of the projects while keeping quality standards high.

In this context, the role and mission of the CAPEX buyer intern will be:
1) To develop cost benchmarks database for Processing project – this database will be key in the implementation of new strategies and projects
- Based on past projects data
- Using the support and expertise of the technical and SSD team on site
- Contacting suppliers to understand their cost structure
- Developing the main ratios that will be used to analyze future projects
2) To assist the Investment Manager with on-going projects:
- Request for Information/Quotation/Proposal (RFx) preparation
- Offer analysis and recommendations
- Manage contract and project follow-up

- The candidate will be based in the West Jordan, Utah plant, reporting to the Investment manager in place.
- In order to develop thorough database, he or she will have to get contacts throughout the organization: plants technical managers and engineers, investment managers, operators etc. to get feedback and understand each project’s context and scope.
- He or she will also be exposed to local and international suppliers to conduct RFx and manage projects.

Qualifications - Pursuing a Bachelor degree in engineering (Manufacturing or Mechanical preferred)
- Business oriented minor is a plus
- MS Excel and PowerPoint proficient
- Strong analytic and communication skills are required
- Strong desire to learn with a proactive manner

Examples of Key Projects:
- Assist in managing preparation of data analysis utilizing industry sources (IRI, Consumer Data, and Customer Loyalty Card Data, retailer specific data) in order to understand trends. Gain exposure to and experience in providing fact-based, tangible recommendations supporting Category Management and key Sales initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of assortment, schematic, plan-o-gram and merchandising analysis and recommendations to the customers, with guidance from Category Management Team Leader
- Help support the development of retailer presentations, business reviews, new item presentations and other customer meetings
- Exposure to and work on the creation and distribution of monthly sales reports (e.g. top line, ranking, space to share, new item tracking, display, etc).
- Work with the Category Management Team in utilizing Shopper Insight Tools to formulate recommendations in support of AMPS (Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing and Shelving) and Shelf Expansion Initiatives

The Intern Sales Representative is responsible for a territory of 20-25 stores, owning the order and merchandising processes to drive incremental sales for Dannon and provide direction pertaining to category management insights. Some of the responsibilities include:

Short term objectives would be to identify key customers that are underspaced and propose solutions to gain it in those accounts. Intern would work with various category management and sales personel in order to gather info and conduct the project.

Position Summary
This position will help to develop and implement the nutritional strategy for major Dannon Dairy Brands in US (Light and Fit and Core)
The nutrition intern will analyze data from US HANES data base and interact daily with Marketing, Health affairs and Market Research in order to improve communication to the consumer. Additionally, this person will help identify potential academic partners in Nutrition.

Key responsibilities:
1. Analyze the data form NHANES and other nutritional surveys and data bases.
2. Prepare communication recommendations for Light and Fit and Core and integrate these recommendations into both brands marketing plans.
3. Set up collaborations with Academic Dannon partners
4. Assist with product nutrition strategies and communication plans that address local nutrition concerns.

Qualifications
- MS or PhD in nutrition
- Knowledge of US nutritional guidelines and regulation, understanding/interest on nutritional epidemiology
- Scientific interests in the dairy category and its effect on health and wellness.
- Ability to work in the fast changing team environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Pragmatic and business-oriented
