Primary purpose: To work with a team to evaluate and improve a process or method creating added value including cost savings to the department/company.
Responsibilities:

Position Summary

This position will be entry-level with a focus on Dannon Operations Finance which includes milk accounting, loss & labor analysis inventory control, fixed asset accounting, spare parts, controllable cost control, utility tracking and internal controls in a continuous improvement environment. Job functions will rely heavily on Microsoft Excel & SAP. Development will revolve around a rotational training development plan, capacity to analyze key performance indicators and their impact on plant operations, and the ability to work with multiple functional groups at the Plant level. This position will be a growth position with transition plan into senior accountant role after 1-2 years. Responsibilities will include:
- Input/learn/report weekly key performance indicators and ensure their accuracy to understand and communicate impact of these measure to the business.
- Quickly analyze data, identify variances and benchmark information against other locations.
- Learn plant cost accounting functions with an emphasis on month end close, material loss and labor variance analysis, spare parts, fixed assets and report preparation for use by Corporate HQ and local plant management.

- The candidate will be based in the West Jordan, Utah plant, reporting to the Investment manager in place.

2010 Internship Program
Primary purpose: To work with a team to evaluate and improve a process or method creating added value including cost savings to the department/company.
Program Summary:
- Work closely with a team and mentor
- Attend intern trainings and events
- Deliver final project(s) of highest quality that can have a positive impact on the business
- Network/partner with peers, managers, buddies, HR and colleagues in other functions
- Present to leadership team at the end of the internship program
Sales Internship in Category Management
Examples of Key Projects:
- Assist in managing preparation of data analysis utilizing industry sources (IRI, Consumer Data, and Customer Loyalty Card Data, retailer specific data) in order to understand trends. Gain exposure to and experience in providing fact-based, tangible recommendations supporting Category Management and key Sales initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of assortment, schematic, plan-o-gram and merchandising analysis and recommendations to the customers, with guidance from Category Management Team Leader
- Help support the development of retailer presentations, business reviews, new item presentations and other customer meetings
- Exposure to and work on the creation and distribution of monthly sales reports (e.g. top line, ranking, space to share, new item tracking, display, etc).
- Work with the Category Management Team in utilizing Shopper Insight Tools to formulate recommendations in support of AMPS (Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing and Shelving) and Shelf Expansion Initiatives
Qualifications - Pursuing BBA in Business Administration or other pertinent major; Prefer expected graduation date of Summer 2010
- Quick learner and self-starter
- Demonstrated analytical skills and leadership ability
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated success in a cross-functional, collaborative team environment

- Development of sales communication materials
• Assist in execution of brand marketing plans, including:
- Market research
- Consumer promotions
- Brand communication
• Integrally involved in managing multiple brand marketing budgets totaling $200MM+ annual spend
Qualifications• Pursuing MBA or BBA in Marketing; Prefer expected graduation date of Summer 2010
• Quick learner and self-starter
• Demonstrated analytical skills and leadership ability
• Strong project management skills
• Demonstrated success in a cross-functional, collaborative team environment
